Aramco Contractors Utilization of NSJT Training Programs

E&OS Contractors Saudization is pleased to announce that the National System for Joint Training (NSJT) is planning to start their sixth training program for Saudi Arab Contractors and general public companies on November 27. The National System for Joint Training is working on offering different training programs especially for Saudi Aramco Contractors and Suppliers for General welding, Metal Fabrication, Crane Operation, Auto Mechanics, etc... (Check NSJT Websites for more details). The objective of this program is to employ--train Saudis (25% theoretical & 75% OJT). The theoretical training program is FREE. In addition, each trainee will receive a total of SR 1,000 as a monthly allowance. NSJT will pay SR750 and the Contractors will sponsor the remaining. This training program is called NSJT-ARAMCO Hire to Train . The program is very stringent on disciplining trainees to weed them out in different stages to assure qualified outcome. This training program is conditional in that the selected candidate to be trained must be hired fulltime by the sponsoring contractor after graduation for an equal time of the training period. In addition, the hiring contractor will be reimbursed with 50%, SR2000 Maximum, off the monthly salary after graduation.

The training program process begins by completing the NSJT form TLES1B available from E&OS Contractors Saudization by sending an e-mail to hussein.boobaid@aramco.com, NSJT_DMM@yahoo.com or  salalmah123@yahoo.ca or khaldoun.bukhari@aramco.com or visiting NSJT website at http://www.nsjt.org.sa to download the form. Once the form is properly completed, it must be faxed to NSJT at 03-833-4576  or via email NSJT_DMM@yahoo.com. For more information, Contractors may visit the NSJT website, email NSJT_Main@yahoo.com, call NSJT Dammam Office Director, Salah Alhakim (03-835-3443 Ext.100), NSJT Riyadh office (01-491-1998 Ext. 107), or Khaldoun Boukhari (03 874-6913).

To take advantage of this opportunity the NSJT TLES1B form must be completed and faxed no later than September 11, 2004. If you faxed an earlier form in May 2004, for the fifth phase and you did not attend the Career Day at Dammam Chamber of Commerce Industry (DCCI) for any reason on June 12-16, 2004, you may resend the form by fax after wished revisions or check NSJT Website for to find out if your company name was enlisted.

The NSJT will announce the open positions and call for job seekers to submit applications through DCCI via media. The career day shall be on October 2-13, 2004 with Companies open day on September 4, 2004 at the Chamber of Commerce. The career day is intended for Contractors to screen, interview, and select candidates to be trained by NSJT. Once the candidates are selected, the Contractors will sign NSJT Carbonated Employment Contracts with those selected trainees where a copy will be sent to Trainee, NSJT, Contractor, DCCI & HRDF.
